System requirements are determined during a walkdown of the existing system and a replacement damper system is designed.

Manually operated bubble tight damper manufactured for Entergy Arkansas Nuclear One. Note how blade is attached to shaft operating mechanism at the center of the blade. This allows for the damper blade to seal properly and lift all edges when the damper is operated allowing for a long life of the sealing surfaces and gasket material.

This unit has two bubble tight dampers in one and actuators with special positioning / lock-in-last position feature. The actuators are a electric-hydraulic design with a manual operator included.
